"Good hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice parking lot. The main part of the hotel is nice and the breakfast did have scrambled/boiled eggs and sausage with an average continental breakfast spread. Nice pool and the hot tub worked as of 8/20/2026. The room did have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the big shower bottles on the wall which was very convenient. I will also mention I did not see any signs for an elevator. We stayed on the first floor, so I did not have a need for 1, but if you do need one, maybe call head to confirm or make sure they give you a 1st floor room. Some things in room 167 could use an upgrade such as grungy tile groute, for fabric on the recliner chair etc. The ac unit also had a musty chemical smell coming from it. The king mattress was too firm for my preference but it worked out fine for 1 night. I paid around $100 for a Thursday night room. If you pay much more than that, not sure its worth it, but compared to how pricey other hotels in madison are it was overall a good deal and a decent stay."
