「Very clean, all the staff were friendly even though it was very busy in the build up to new year. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great. Chose it mainly cos it was dog friendly but would certainty go back without the dogs, is a short walk into Ripon centre and there looked to be lots of nice bars and restaurants. 」

「Loads of choice from fresh fruit and yogurt to full English. What stood out the most tho was the staff. Never have we been anywhere with such nice friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. Spot on! 」

「Beautiful Hotel, fab food, breakfast amazing, clean comfortable beds room was a bit cold on arrival and took a bitbof time to heat up,but, there was an oil radiator in the room. The staff are fantastic, welcoming professional and helpful. 」

「The building, staff and amenities where outstanding, we did go for a basic room but it met our need and was comfortable and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful I can’t fault them. The building is outstanding the share vastness of it must take some upkeep and the place looked amazing with open lounge areas beautifully decorated. 」

「Loved the pub and Simon was super helpful. Best nights sleep ever in the best bed with lovely soft pillows. Food very good, especially breakfast (full Yorkshire breakfast) overall such great find. Highly recommended. Very dog friendly and lovely atmosphere.」

「Room was first class and very comfortable. The room itself was beautiful and all fixtures and fittings were quality. Very quiet and all we could hear off and on was a hooting owl. 」

「Plenty of parking next to hotel room. In my case I could see my motorcycle from the hotel window. Large well appointed clean room with excellent en suite. Lovely views over surrounding hills. Cozy pub with real fire. Good full English breakfast and friendly staff. All good thanks and would stay again. 」
