「Overall it was pretty good to be fair, though I think a few things could be improved. The check in was straight forward and you're given a printed sheet to put in the front of the car to cover parking in the pay & display at the rear of the building. The room was small but comfortable and clean and nicely decorated. There were fresh towels and plenty of tea & coffee. 「my friends and I only stayed overnight, arriving early evening and left early morning but the room was clean and the staff were polite. I received a phone call shortly before arrival from a staff member asking if we would be eating with them and if they should reserve a table which was very nice of them. the land lady had a very sweet dog who came to greet us and say goodbye to us. 」

「The old house hotel was delightful. Good size dining room with lots of period features. The room was a good size, well appointed and freshly painted. The hall had new carpet. However the accommodation wing had hints of 1970s with roof tiled halls , diy tiled bathroom ( dangerously sharp edges), dated furniture and an uncomfortable bed with people shaped hollows. Excellent service and a fine dining experience was a highlight. 」
