"Had a relaxing stay overall. Friendly staff in lobby,spacious clean rooms with good clothes storage and comfortable beds. Nice to find hairdryer,iron and ironing board in the room. Good sized bathroom with lovely toiletries. Cooked breakfast at 9.30am was cold on our first morning and after microwaving our food,the warmers were switched on by a member of staff. Breakfast was on til 11am but the warmers were off. Breakfast was only warmer on our 2nd day as some trays were empty and freshly cooked food had to be waited for. Pastries,breads and cheeses were good as was the coffee. Nowhere in the information i received or on the hotels website was it specified that the pool was not hotel specific. I thought i was booking a hotel with its own pool & spa for residents. It was a leisure centre attached to the hotel which was open to the public. On going for a swim,half the very small pool was cordoned off for swimming lessons. Managed to do a little swimming but couldn't use the only 2 heated loungers as there were children on them who were not staying in the hotel. Kind of disappointed slightly as it wasn't what i thought and would have preferred it to have been exclusive to hotel residents. The spa was very very good though. Massage & reflexology was well worth it. Relaxing atmosphere in the spa and felt chilled out after treatments. Not a bad stay overall. Would consider staying again."

"Arrived to be greeted by a group standing in the front entrance smoking weed. No one from the hotel asked them to simple move a few meters so all areivedcdidnt have to walk through it. Was woken up by dealing going on at 02:15am outside my door. There meals overall are not cheap, but the cheapest option at my point of stay was roughly £12 - but they then charge you £7 to bring it 1 floor which isn’t really 4* service. £6 to park your car a day and no guarantee of a space. The staff were always polite - but that only masks the reality here on somewhere more 2* with 4* prices "

"Room was fine. Clean and quiet. Breakfast was a disappointment as there was only instant coffee, and not much in the way of hot food that wasn’t pork. "

"Hotel itself was clean and maintained well. Bathrooms were nice and clean as well. My issue with this hotel is that I booked and paid for a room that had 2 single beds and a double bed. When checking in I was informed that it was hotel policy that only 2 adults per room and given a room with a single bed and a double bed. My friend had to book her own room on the spot because of that yet the website and booking company never stated there was a 2 adult per room policy. "

"The kitchen had a cigarette smell; perhaps the curtains had not been cleaned or changed. Sheets were clean, but the dishes and general cleanliness were not good. Location was okay. "
