"The hotel was clean and welcoming. The decor is very dated .... could do with refreshing. Our Room was spacious and comfortable but the pillows were awful. Very friendy and smily, helpful staff. The tasty breakfast was freshly cooked, coffee not so good. It was however a very reasonble price, a bonus compared to other central hotels. "

"The fire alarm came on twice up until 12am. Very loud and unpleasant. Both times it was a false alarm but we had to go to the lobby to find out. "

"We didn't use the Spa which I am sure is lovely, its an additional cost and we didn't have time. The lobby is also ok, its the rooms! The bed was comfy but the bath, shower attachment and shower curtain were from the 1970's as was the furniture in the room - minimal toiletries - 2 mini shampoo bottles! A spa hotel is the implication, but it certainly not that !"

"Nice character and quirky but very tired property. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a trip back in time and whilst functional, it needs replacing. The main hotel was comfortable and very relaxed and extremely dog friendly, which suited many guests. The food and service was very good."

"Great location for a trip to Bournemouth, moments away from the beach, it must be one of the closest hotels to the beach area. Room was clean and just what we needed. It was great that our children had beds each rather than having to share a sofa bed. The hotel had a nice lobby bar area, we didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on that. We made use of the pool which was lovely to have for our stay "
