「Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. 「We reserved the Deluxe room with king size bed. We called Thursday to confirm the room. We told them over the phone, we have 2 dogs. We were not given the room reserved. We were given a room with 2 single beds. The vending machine on the property was out of service. The lamp in the room was not properly assembled and would fall over easily. The staff was very unhelpful in our request and slightly apologetic about things. 」

「They were bought by the Hilton so they changed something’s. Bar and restaurant are open now and were very nice. No continental breakfast but we had breakfast downstairs and they give you a sizable portion. Food was good. Staff like always were very nice and our bartender. Carl made our visit even better.」
