「There aren’t very many options of places to stay while you’re in Murphy’s unless you want to go into Angels Camp or Arnold, but I do think that of the options available this one is a better option. The space was quite clean, large and spacious. We had everything we needed. It is a bit outdated. It’s nice that they give you the option of donuts or a breakfast burrito in the morning, nothing fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but it was nice. 「The breakfast was continental with some nice options. Everything was fresh and nicely laid out. The room was clean and quaint and I loved my balcony overlooking the bistro below. The staff was great and extremely welcoming. I felt like I made new friends in my short stay.」

「We stayed in the "Family Suite". It had more than enough space for a family of 4. It was very quiet as it was in the back away from the main road, and underneath. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the shared patio area.」

「Parking lot was huge and no one was in it this time of year; there were NO staff present at all - our room keys were in an envelope taped to the wall when we walked in the front. Also the bed frames need to be replaced. You could not move at ALL on the bed without horrible scraping and squeaking noise - we are talking just to SIT on the bed... Rooms were pleasant and view of the river was nice... even the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday so.... we saw NO ONE.」

「This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need.
