「Timberline Lodge in Arnold is a nice hotel conveniently located along CA-4. It was very close to Calaveras Big Trees State Park. There are a good number of restaurants catering to different cuisines. Our favorites were Bistro Espresso and Sarafina’s Italian Restaurant. The lodge itself looks newly renovated and well maintained. The amenities met our needs. The only problem we had was with the air conditioning. It was a hot weekend in August with temperature in the 90’s and the a/c wasn’t cooling...

「I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Because the check-in time is 4:30 PM, I went to Yosemite National Park first. It takes about an hour to get to Yosemite Valley each time. There is a good restaurant near this hotel for breakfast and dinner. The room of this hotel is clean, except that the shower gel or shampoo ran out on the first night of my stay. Besides, the reception is nice. Thank you all. I have a wonderful, beautiful memory of Yosemite National Park.」
