"The hotel is tucked away in the mountains of Hakone - making it a convenient location for the ropeway access and a nice experience. Downstairs is a large living room concept with a wooden fire -- fun place to hang out and mingle/relax. Few nice touches that provide for a nice experience -- every guest usually wears their yakuta attire they receive in the room. There is an onsen that you can use which is wonderful! The room has good amenities. The service is a bit slower and maybe not as solutions-based as you might need, but everyone is nice. The hotel offers shuttles to Gora,Sauzon stations - which is helpful if you take the train from Odawara to these stations. You can also reserve a shuttle from Odawara to hotel."

"Very good accomodation next to Akaska bus stop. Had a good introduction to Onsan with this one overlooking Fuji San! No milk or creamer in room and although free coffee machine downstairs only available in limited morning hours."

"Close to Atami Station, so easy to access trains, busses, taxis and shopping. Not as many amenities as a more expensive hotel, but they supply everything you need and there’s a Family Mart one block away. The staff are lovely and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast is small by North American standards, but I enjoyed it very much. This is a great, affordable Japanese hotel in a small onsen town. It was better than I expected at this price point. Two thumbs up! PS Don’t skip the Atami pudding in town, it’s worth waiting in line."

"Staying in Kawaguchiko was one of my favorite parts of Japan. I had two clear sunny days with great views of Mt. Fuji. The lake was beautiful. Tokyo Inn was very accommodating. I would definitely stay there again. "
