「Nikki is the ultimate hostess , OMG, she was so hospitable, allowing us full access to her cherry tree, cooking us delicious breakfasts, refilling our coffees, always asking if we needed anything, the king size bed with AC unit and fan, I slept like a baby the 2 nights we were there, one of the most enjoyable AIR BNB's my wife and I stayed at, would highly recommend the Chirping Cricket to anyone to share in our most wonderful stay experience. 「What a pleasant surprise. We booked a stay here as it was a good location and price for what we required, and was dog-friendly. The bonuses were the complimentary wine-tasting and breakfast, neither of which we were expecting. Staff are all lovely and kind and the morning view from bed looking out at the like was divine.」

「The main selling point of this hotel is the incredibly kind and compassionate lady at the front desk. She honestly made our stay enjoyable. The hotel is about 1 1/2 kms from any restaurants but she made it a worthwhile stay. She communicated with us in very relatable manner and provided excellent suggestions. I would stay there again simply for her nd her amazing son」

「They do a very good job with the property. A few things would make it a 5 star….Elevator not working and staff didn’t seem too concerned, not an issue with the stairs if you don’t have a pile of luggage! Bathroom fan SUPER loud!! AC unit in the room super loud as well. Those loud noises make it feel like a motel 6. Please fix them!」

「We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Our room was newly renovated and was fantastic. Location was great, just off Hwy 97 as you enter into Penticton. Steps away from a private ( quiet) Beach. In our room we had a fridge/ freezer, microwave, coffee maker, dishes,kettle really anything you would need. There is a BBQ for use and plenty of outdoor seating. Ashley the manager was absolutely wonderful. She was so helpful with some needs that we had wanted. I would definitely stay here...

The Beachside Motel is a fantastic place to stay, a classic throwback to a simpler time while still being exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
