I went in blankets were dirty , room smelled, no lights were plugged in, went into the bathroom to shower and had a hard time with hot water, shower was nasty and while I was cleaning it, I ran roaches down the drain. Terrible I left in minutes

We apologize if you would come and told us we could help you out right away and we did inspect the room we did not notice any pesticides and we do have contract with terminex yearly .hot water and blankets were seem to be ok too

ZERO STARS IF THERE WAS AN OPTION. AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE!!! WAY OVER PRICED SHOULDN'T BE OVER $60 OH BUT IT WAS 4 TIMES MORE. 30 YEAR OLD MATTRESS WITH BED BUG EVIDENCE WAS LIKE WOOD WITH A STAINED SHEET OVER IT AND CRAPPY PILLOWS. DON'T TAKE A KING SIZE ROOM, NOT ENOUGH ROOM IN IT AND BATHROOM MAKES PSYCHO'S LOOK DREAMY. SMELLED BAD,SCARY PROPANE HEATER SO OLD MADE US WORRY ABOUT CARBON MONOXIDE POISIONING. BAD PARKING, TRAFFIC NOISE TERRIBLE, DONT TAKE THE ROOM CLOSE TO ROAD. SLEEPING IN TRUCK WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE COMFORTABLE AND CLEANER. FORGET ABOUT COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST,DOESN'T EXIST. IF I HAD TOLD OWNER THE TRUTH THE POLICE WOULD HAVE PROB SHOWN UP. WORST PLACE I'VE EVER BEEN IN, HEEBIE JEEBIE CITY. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND CLOSE THE BUSINESS. DREAMY.

Love this little inn. It’s adorable and the space has nice modern upgrades. I chose because the reviews said comfortable beds and they were right! The king size bed room is so comfortable the double bed room is nice also and shower better in that room. All in all great place to stay in Sturbridge close to everything with wonderful owners

Okay for a cheap stay passing through
It was...meh. The family was very nice. The husband took a bottle of vinegar and left to spray our room while the wife checked us in, then he walked us into the room and showed us around, which was odd for a motel. after he left we realized it was probably so we couldn't see the condition of the front door. You could see through the bottom, which we covered with a sheet, and you had to push it open from the jamb to lock it, which meant it sounded like we were sleeping on the sidewalk. The air conditioner that doesn't condition air very well was old and loud enough to cover that, so it wasn't a big deal. Wendy's delivered chili with forks and nuggets with no sauce, so we figured that may be the worst thing that happened to us for the stay. We weren't really bothered by the complete lack of a clock or any method to wake up, since we both decided to just hit the road early and stop tossing and turning. If you need a bed for $111, this is the place for you. If you desire literally anything else, you should probably go elsewhere. The shower was cool. The lack of a place to put anything made it a bit awkward. That kind of thing. You can tell they tried really hard to turn a busted old motel into something nice, and they're almost there. Fix just a few more things and we'd be willing to pay up to $120 to stay. We didn't go see the breakfast. We were more frightened than curious. I'm sure it was lovely. You get what you pay for. In this price range, it's 5-star.

Good if you are just looking for a place to stay
Nice staff. Room had newer fixtures like sink, toilet and shower water system. Beds were comfortable, but room was dated, and lighting was dated with dated outlets. I forgot to ask for Wifi password if there was one. I just used my own hotspot for internet.

Verry happy with our stay and we will stay here again in the future on our way to Maine or Boston. Parking had room for both our van and small trailer. The owner and wife are friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 18, and the owner actually took us to our room to show us where everything was and to ensure the room was to our liking. How many hotel owners do that for you, plus are willing to help you bring your bags in? The room has two comfortable queen beds, feather comforters, four heavy feather pillows per bed. They are in hypoallergenic casings, but my wife has problems with feathers. This is a universal issue in hotels, so she brings her own. I, however, love the weight of of feather comforters, so they were perfect for me. Yes, a few minor nicks in the furniture and a couple of small, light stains on the expensive comforters, but all pillowcasings and sheets were snow white, not worn, and clean. The owner is very adamant, do not smoke in the room! He repeated this several times and will have no problem with enforcing the fines. The room was clean, fresh, well kept, and no bugs. Refrigerator and microwave were clean, worked well, and near a small round table. We really liked the small table with two chairs, making it like a breakfast corner. AC was okay and did cool the room. No need for the heater on this stay. The best part is the bathroom. Modern, tiled, clean, and with a fancy shower and lights. Fantastic! Nice neighborhood, simple breakfast. See the garden!
