「Overall the stay was great. Staff is wonderful and the restaurant bar is our favorite stop for drinks before heading off to plays. We have used this property before and the location can not be beaten. My only issue is there was a hold for the full stay amount plus an additional $200 for room charges. Then on check out we were charged the room rate amount. It has now been 7+ days and the fairly large hold is still pending. It is frustrating to have to review and confirm the amount is still not...

「The property was clean and very well located, very close to downtown. Staff were courteous and responsive but I found check-in and check-out info a bit confusing. The room was very small, the bathroom tiny with a pillar obtruding into the middle of it. The sink is outside the bathroom in the room itself. 「This motel is a real gem. The owners have been operating it for almost 30 years, and you'd never know the motel was that old. Our room was clean, well maintained and spacious. The grounds are picturesque. The owners are super friendly, and I actually observed an interaction between one of them and an employee, and she was kind to her employee. That speaks volumes to me. While I can't imagine having cause to visit Stratford overnight again, if we do, we are definitely staying at the Suburban...

「Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are "basic and a little tired" but clean. We came for Stratford Festival so we only slept here. Reasonably priced for that purpose. Air conditioning worked well. Room temperature was perfect. Lots of parking. Nice that they have complimentary coffee and tea」
