"Best parts: pool area with hot tub and sauna; 24-hr coffee/tea setup in lobby; food store right across the road; in room fridge and microwave. Minuses: Room itself was pretty small. No seating in lobby. Front desk staff either ignored us or were talking to other guests or each other. A minor point, but it felt unprofessional."
Sunset Motel On The Bay

"Great location and clean motel. The deck and view of the bay was nice. Hotel was quite and peaceful. Linens and sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room had a small kitchen which was nice to make a quick breakfast and coffee. The location was easy to find and had ample parking for us and other guests. The front desk staff was person was very nice but a little hard to communicate with. Overall a great experience at the Sunset."

"The carpets are quite old and stained and there was a bit of a musty smell in the hallways, but the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Location was great, as it is close to downtown Munising as well as the meetup place for the kayak trip we had booked."

"There was a standard cleaning fee not included in the booking price on Hotels, but even so it was an adorable little cabin, and I enjoyed my stay. It was easy to get in and out of, and very close to Pictured Rocks. The service in the area is spotty, which for me was nice and let me unplug a bit, but if that’s not your thing the cabin had wifi and a TV. The cabins are close together if that’s not your thing, but I never heard a peep from anyone else staying there, and the blinds installed allow for complete privacy."
