"We stayed in the tan Bay cottage. It was comfortable in the way that a very old worn in pair of tennis shoes is comfortable. The home was clean but not being well cared for. When we arrived, there was still trash in the trash bin in the kitchen, an empty box of trash maybe from a previous tenant and a pair of old socks laying on the floor and one of the beds was unmade.The home itself was nicely updated for the upper peninsula of Michigan. The landscaping (grass and bushes) was very unkept and the lot between the two cottages ( looks like a house was there before but was recently torn down) is a sand pit, which is very unsightly. The back porch felt very unstable, and the railing was loose. The air conditioning for the home really doesn't work, but also the box fan that was upstairs did not work. Also, there are no window coverings on the sliding door in the kitchen, which looks out onto the the parking lot of the Comfort Inn."

"Enjoyed our stay here. Kids missed the swimming pool but they had large size whirlpool which was good. Sauna was great addition.. I dont usually use it during stay but fitness equipments were out of order/not maintained. Hot Breakfast was served with usually continental options.. Satisfactory.."

"The property was good for the couple nights we spent and the activities we were there for. The door wouldnt stay shut but they fixed that as soon as we told them. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is in a really good location for sightseeing."
