「Check-in was a little difficult. You had to walk up to the main entrance door and call a cell phone number. I called it and it wouldn’t even let me even leave a message. But the person checking you in on this virtual check-in did call me back right away, so they must have caller ID. But it was a pain in the ass cause she was working at another motel as well, it’s just kind of a bad set up for check-in.」

「The room had an awful mystery odor. We had to go and get air freshener. The toilet was not attached to the floor. Did not have extra rolls of toilet paper. We had to go to the desk to get one. Went to check out and get a receipt and no one was at the desk. Rang the bell and after a few minutes someone came out and they were in their pajamas. We would not stay there again」

「The room was newly renovated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location in general was very good and our view of lake Michigan was pretty cool. The pool looked nice although we didn't use it. We really wanted to use the hot tub but it was not operating. The staff was friendly and there was a nice little free continental breakfast in the lobby. The Roku TV was a bit complicated (for streaming) but we ended up figuring it out; I imagine that some folks wouldn't have been able...
