"Room very outdated. Bathroom shower needs updating. Lights kept flickering. Floor was uneven. No insulation. Could hear everything in the hallway, especially the ice machine. The hot tub and pool were nice"

"I feel like an idiot for seeing the pix associated with this place, and not noticing that the ones of the ocean were labeled “nearby attractions”. I (stupidly) thought this place was on the lake. Nope. It’s on the main drag nowhere near the lake, but instead adjoining a gas station and a small casino. The place across the street had good food, but apparently failed to renew their liquor license when the owner recently passed away. Too bad, because I was really looking forward to a cold brew or two in what looked to be a nice bar once."
