「The property itself was lovely. However, during my two day stay, the water temperature in my room's en suite bathroom was cold, and then tepid, both for the basin and shower. The shower water pressure was also very poor. Finally, I had early starts on both mornings, and the fire alarm went off in my bedroom due to "steam" from the bathroom. 「We really enjoyed our stay at The Little George! Geoff was super kind and helpful, showed us to our room. The room was lovely and spacious and very clean, lovely bathroom with a big shower (the included toiletries smelled amazing too!). Well stocked minibar, teas and coffees etc. WiFi was very good too, easy to connect and fast, which is needed in this area as mobile data signal can be a bit iffy. 「Staff excellent, room very small no chair or even room for bags. Wifi in room also poor. Bar food and service excellent and the welcome pack and light breakfast choice good. Clean but the building is ageing. The steps to the rooms really need to be illuminated or there will be a fall」

「I recently stayed here for a training event. The facilities were generally ok and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. Some parts of the property do feel a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The main issue I had was with the shower in my room, which had no cold water at all and was boiling hot. Unfortunately, I only discovered this in the morning, so there wasn’t really time for it to be fixed before I had to leave.」

Also guest seemed to taking food and not eating it - wasting, and some did not care about leaving the place tidy - absolutely clueless people 」

「We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. We also like how they stock plenty of welcome drinks and snacks in room to give us coziness to wind down in the cool weather.」
