「The property was quirt and very clean. The service was very friendly and competent. The food at breakfast and at dinner was excellent.」

「Newly refurbished room with new very comfortable beds plus hard and a soft pillow. Only stayed one night so commenting on breakfast. It’s ground floor light airy space or sit outside. 「Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING...

「This hotel is a characterful gem. Relaxed vibe. The guy running the hotel is very friendly and if you have any issue or request you can whatsapp him rather than going to reception, which I found super convenient. I wish more hotels did that! Tip: Buy bottled water for drinking as hot water mixes in with the cold tap. 」

「Fantastic location. Really nicely decorated and has everything you needed. Comfortable bed, lush shower. Host was great, really accommodating, had thought of everything. So easy to get to bars,restaurants, shopping, train station etc, would highly recommend to anyone. We booked the smallest room,and it was perfectly fine as a place to sleep and shower. Excellent stay.」

「Excellent hotel. Everything is well laid out and perfectly furnished from the elegant bathrooms to the welcoming rooms. Even the stairs are perfect with their quality wooden flooring. The whole building has a good feel to it. All the staff were superb. Warm, welcoming and helpful. The voucher for a cocktail in the basement bar was a delightful surprise. The basement bar with its Saturday DJ may be catering for the younger generation, but it was great fun, even for us with only few grey hairs...

「Sehr guter Stopp etwas außerhalb von Margate. Anmeldung im Pub. Die Zimmer sind über dem Pub, aber ab 22 Uhr war alles ruhig. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit zwei Betten. Die Dusche war hervorragend, und die Handtücher waren auch klasse. Alles pieksauber. Der Pub macht mittwochs bis samstags Abendessen. Dienstag ist Bingoabend. Das (kostenlose) Internet war ultraschnell. Margate hat viel mehr zu bieten als ich erwartet hätte. Ich komme wieder. 」
