「A nice little overnighter with friends at the Wheatsheaf. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had our evening meal at the Thai restaurant next door which was amazing. We did see some plates coming out before leaving and the food at the hotel looked good too. Our room (superior)was nicely done, lovely fluffy towels and a great size shower. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. My only reason for downgrading the amenities was because there was no lift. We would go back though」

「A small dining room but elegantly decorated, high-class just the English breakfast. Location a few blocks from the police station and in middle of a vibrant town. Best are the staffs who are kind, helpful and professional.」

「Lovely little hotel based on a farm, in a very quiet area. The room itself looked like a older more traditional style room with a lot of wood based furniture, the shower room was more modern and honestly puts some mainstream hotels to shame, excellent shower and the water pressure was amazing. The walls were relatively soundproof, you can faintly hear someone watching tv in the other room if you really concentrated, so all good there. The only downside in the shower room was there was no room...

「Wanted to stay somewhere with a rural charm, and this did not disappoint! Staff very friendly and helpful. We did the half board which offered great value. Proper pub food, reasonably priced and excellent quality. Same can be said about breakfast. Great location to explore the area and walks nearby. Only slight downside were that the walls were quite thin so you could hear movements from neighbouring rooms. 」

「The room we stayed in at the back of the pub called The Old Barn was amazing. So clean, eco friendly and spacious. We did think the top floor overlooking the lounge area could be utilised better as there was just a massive dining table in there. The staff and dining in the pub was exceptional. 」
