"This property does not offer a free breakfast, but they have a restaurant that serves breakfast. The gyro meat/egg burrito was excellent. This property has a very nice pool and a bar that serves after 4PM. Fogo de Chao is also within a very short walk and service there was much better than the reviews I read on line for this restaurant. We went on a Thursday night and there was a small crowd."

"I chose this Comfort Inn since it is more north of Detroit, and the area is known to be better and safer. The front desk attendant asked me if I preferred a floor. As a person who does not travel often, I said it did not matter. Looking back, his question tells me there were multiple floors and rooms he could have given me. He gave me the room on the first floor closest to the exit door. Upon entering my room, the air conditioner was on, and the room was really cold. I had to turn the heat on to get the room at a normal temperature. I also noticed the window was open, and there was no screen or bars for protection. There was only one small window stop attached by a loose screw. I don't know if someone left the window open on purpose. The room was averagely cleaned as far as the dusting. There were water/drink stains on the night stand and desk telling me it was not dusted or the room was not cleaned even if the bathroom was. The television was only getting tv channels - no cable or internet. At this point I had just driven five hours from another state, and I did not plan on staying up watching television, so I decided not to take all the time to change rooms. Upon getting in bed around 10:00 p.m. - all of a sudden, the two exit doors continutally were slamming shut till almost 11:30 p.m. Then the exit doors started shamming shut continually starting early at 6:00 a.m. in the morning by rude hotel workers/people exiting/entering the hotel."

"This hotel at Masidon Heights had no room service for our 4 day stay. The carpets were filthy and sticky. The bed was so uncomfortable and the sheets didnt stay on. The bed folded in and was SUPER high up. I am 5'8" and struggled to get in. Then rolled in and sunk to the middle. The smoke detector didnt even have a battery installed. Nor was it plugged into the wall. I went to the front desk to get fresh towels and toilet paper after the 2nd day, and inquired about the room service. The lady said yes they had room service. We were scheduled for Saturday room service, but they didnt do room service on the weekends. How does this make any sense? The phone in the room was plugged in but didnt work. No dial tone. Yes, I hit 9, still nothing. No front desk with or with out the 9. The pictures posted for this hotel were not at all what I saw at this place. The last two pictures of the lobby and the front desk are accurate. $92 a night and it was not well maintained. The ceiling in the bathroom was patched for a prior leak. Not worth the money. This area has gone way down and I do not recommend this hotel to stay at if you are traveling alone, if you know what I mean. This hotel is also independently owned and operated. So, there is no basic standard."

"The onsite team or front desk was great. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the room. I dropped something on the floor and when I went to retrieve the item, I noticed how dusty it was under the bed. Keep in mind, the bed sits high off the floor and the floor is vinyl. There was a film along the plastic baseboard that only happens when you mop without sweeping and now there is gunk stuck to the baseboard and floor. My recommendation is that at least twice per year the beds are pulled out and the baseboards deep cleaned."

"While this was a cute old hotel with new life be breathed into it...there were a few things that were disappointing. The lobby and breakfast room is on the second floor! I did not see an elevator although there may have been one I missed. But is was a strange set up to say the least. They did have a cool Vinyl room and a pool table that you can play for free but they charge for everything else. For example the lock box for your valuables in the room! Really! Then there is NO live TV! They had all the streaming apps and want you to put in your own information to stream anything! I have a $30 antenna at home that would be better than nothing. Do I have to travel with that now? The free breakfast was not very good I'm afraid. Bad coffee, a couple of bagels and an apple."
