「Lovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)」

「Easy to find with plenty of parking, arrived early but wasn’t a problem shown to our room by the landlady which was larger than expected with plenty of room it was of a high standard very fresh looking and clean! Extra pillows found , and had a selection of tea and coffees and had delish quality biscuits! Bathroom was a good size with fresh smelling towels ready and good quality shower gel and conditioner Evening meal and breakfast were of a high standard A very pleasant relaxed atmosphere...

「Stayed at The Old Store guest house with my daughter for 2 nights. We loved everything about our stay. Spacious room in the eves, very clean, very comfortable bed, well appointed room, plenty room in the shower room to lay out your toiletries, good shower, lovely view over the countryside. 「Friendly host, warm and cozy cottage atmosphere out on the country - very private and quiet too. The room was so nicely appointed and we loved the sound of the babbling stream outside. The bathroom was large and bright and had a big bathtub. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each day. A wonderful spot away from the madding crowds but so close to so many beautiful places. 」
