「I would describe the stay as travelodge level rooms- fairly basic. Probably a 2-3 star stat. Standard of cleanliness isn’t great- the room had a faint smell of damp or urines. The mugs in the room were also dirty The facilities were surprisingly impressive- a good sized pool and proper gym. We stayed here and spent the first day in Portsmouth and the second day in Chichester. It’s a good and accessible location.」

「The Copper Beeches is a 15 minute walk from the South Downs Way. I received a very warm welcome and my stay couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you so much. 」

「I was greeted by staff in the pub in the evening with a warm friendly welcome. The rooms are in a separate annex so no noise can be heard from the pub. You are given a door code on arrival. The room was clean as was the bedding and towels. Quite a spacious double room with desk chair and armchair. The bathroom was clean The shower pressure wasn’t particularly strong but it was ample. 「Absolute amazing place to stay and the staff were so so friendly, always smiling, in a good mood and happy to help. The breakfast selection was brilliant from cereal to croissants to eggs benedict royale. Room was extremely clean on 1st inspection and was continued throughout the stay by the maids. Bar was awesome too. Dedicated parking too which was very helpful and not like other properties in area. We will definitely be staying here again 100%」
