The temperature and pressure of the shower water was EXCELLENT. The room did feel spacious and was nicely decorated. The city view was beautiful. Crystal and Shelly (beautiful red hair) were the only two front desk staff that provided exceptional service. They greeted with a smile, were knowledgeable, professional, hard-working and accommodating, and seemed like they wanted to be at work and provide great service. The others did not give the same energy or vibes which was disappointing.

This hotel was convenient and close for us to walk into town. We were very disappointed with the condition of the room. The air did not work and was close to 80 degrees in the room all night. The toilet in the bathroom did not work. We had someone look at it and try to fix it but it still did not work. Overall, the stay was just okay.

We found broken glass in our room and the hallway leading to our room. Carpets on the 5th floor where we were seriously need replacing.

It was my favorite place to stay because of its proximity to New York, highway access and the gym. However my last visit was spoiled by an employee who accused me and my wife of not having a room after we returned from the gym and went to breakfast. In addition the room was freezing cold all night and the bathroom had ants crawling around.

I stayed at this hotel on 3/22-3/24 and it was amazing. I want to recognize the Manager at the front deck he was absolutely amazing and professional. He went above and beyond to see that our stay was awesome. Thanks again ❤️

Property was great and staff was nice. The only issue I had was that the room I booked and received confirmation for was not available when I arrived. I was told this was due to third party ticketing, however I booked it through Expedia and have never had this issue before.

Love the large rooms. The park across the road was nice to walk our dog in. The staff was helpful but more indifferent. Not a friendly greeting. There were stains all over the carpet in our room.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Hampton. The room smells fresh and clean. The breakfast was phenomenal. (Hot buffet breakfast) free parking lot. The restaurant was within walking distance from the hotel. I recommend the stay at the Hamptons.

First off, when we arrived, the hotel tried to force us to pay again even though our reservation was paid in full on Hotels.com. We informed them of this and after an hour delay, we were finally able to check in and instructed to speak to the manager in the morning about the balance. Hotels.com took care of that situation and made sure the hotel didn’t charge us. The room was filthy, hairs on the nightstands, pubes on the toilet rim, literal hairs in the towels and more hair in the shower. The hotel was made aware and didn’t do anything about it except for exchange the towels. We decided to deal with it and go to sleep, as we had just driven 7 hours and then took almost an hour to check in at midnight. The hotel would not offer a refund for the stay and neither would Hotels.com. Worst Hampton Inn we have ever stayed at.

Convenient for downtown Stamford
Hampton can always be relied upon for a great mattress and nice breakfast. Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean and safe. Would stay here again.

Still a work in progress and it’s going smooth for the property. Had the sweetest doe eyed beauty as my check in agent and she was kind and ooolitr as anyone. Was able to swap my decaf poison for real coffee. Just wish cost would come down a bit.

Economical comfortable and easy access to train
First time in Stamford. Comfortable, ten minute walk to train for nyc show. Free parking and breakfast included made it more economical than other comparable hotels in the area. Great Italian restaurant attached to the hotel. Drawback - no pool.

Excellent property with free parking and clean and comfortable rooms. This would be a 5 star review if I didn’t have maybe the worst customer service of my life on the way out of my stay. I had discovered that I had a pending charge on my card for what I had already paid months before for the room through Expedia after already checking in and paying for the refundable incidental. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and dismissive rather than working with me and/or redirecting me. As long as I know that this woman still works there I will never stay at this hotel again. Don’t work at a front desk if you are a rude and inconsiderate person. She even refused to let me speak to a manager when I requested to and asked if she could help the people behind me when I was trying to problem solve with her to see why I was double charged for the stay. Thankfully the customer service line on Expedia helped me solve the problem.

The check in process was easy. The clerk was pleasant and helpful. The room is spacious and comfortable. The only thing that isn’t perfect is the parking lot, which is awkward to maneuver in.
