「Overall excellent service」

「Let's start with the room. The ac was noisy. The bed sheets had hairs in them. The shower had luke warm water at best. Even though we had 3 people staying in the room there were only 2 sets of towels. How about the service. We stayed 2 nights, and the room was not cleaned during our stay. On the first night, I called the front desk to bring up some coffee cups to our room, there were none when we got there. We waited 30 minutes, and no one brought them up. 「Check in was quick and parking was provided. The rooms are small and not soundproof. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Smart tv in room so no cable available. Noisy area with car alarms sounding through the night and people yelling outside. Decent continental breakfast.」

「The restaurant was closed at dinner. The pool was freezing cold, hot tub was not working. The breakfast was not available until 8 am which was not noted online so we ended up going to McDonald's for a meal that supposed to be in the price we paid. The A/C was not working properly. We will be sending our breakfast receipt in.」

Checked out immediately (did not stay the night), staff told us we could get a refund through Expedia but 5 days later they have still not responded to Expedia’s emails and phone calls, so we are out CAD 144. 「The hotel is old and run down. The hallways smell like urine and the rooms smell like smoke. We found a cigarette but by the tv stand. House keeping came at 9am and asked if we needed towels and never came back to clean the room. We were there 3 days. The only thing that was clean was the bedding. Not worth the $200 a night we paid. Stay at a $70 hotel it’s probably cleaner and less run down.」

「The room was clean. Some of the furniture was in poor condition (e.g. desk legs were not firmly attached, lamp shade was not firmly attached, TV remote did not control the TV, no control for the temperature of the room, window air conditioning unit not functioning). The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep before we left early the next morning. We had asked for another set of towels and received 9 face cloths and 2 bathmats.
