Clean and comfortable room, lots of restaurants and bars both connected and within walking distance. Free breakfast and gated parking (if you arrive early enough as the area is small). Second time staying and never had a complaint either time
As always, our stay was wonderful! Right downtown with the pub down below perfect location. If you want a quieter evening, make sure to get your room on the backside of the hotel.
We love the old world charm and the accessibility to food. It was a little noisy late at night, but that’s to be expected when you’re on a main street.
I really enjoyed my stay, the room was nice and clean, the AC worked and it was quite quiet for being downtown. The bar has great beer on tap and the morning breakfast room is charming.
Great piece of history in downtown Saskatoon. It was comfortable and affordable. If you’re looking for Michelin Star then it’s not for you. Would stay again.

Great location in this historic hotel in downtown Saskatoon, could walk to everything
Rooms were extremely clean and everything worked. The water pressure and drains worked very well. Breakfast and balcony were just ok. The service exceeded my expectations. The free secure gated parking was a huge bonus along with location if you want to checkout some of what the area had to offer because it’s all walkable and safe.
Over all it was a great stay…
the hotel has old time charm, is well maintained and yet comfortable.
The parking is a problem, but well managed by staff. staff are friendly and helpful.
My Wife and I have stayed here many times, and we love the ambiance of the old hotel. Very historic and beautiful. Walking distance from the river and shopping. The English pub in the hotel is awesome. The rooms are small, but that's part of the charm of this old Hotel.
Beautiful historic hotel. The room although small, was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and Winston's English pub ( on site) had amazing food!
This hotel fit our budget and we wanted to be downtown, so we wouldn't have to use our car. It also had free parking and free (minimal) breakfast, and we appreciated not having to pay anything extra. It is a historic old hotel and it reflects that. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was friendly. I wouldn’t stay there again but my husband says he would. There you have it!
Gorgeously updated historic hotel smack in the midst of downtown. Busy bar district at night, but quiet inside. Upstairs from the pub, but not a sound made it to us on the second floor. Stunningly restored, and a spooky bit of lore about it. Comfortable beds, nice and dark at night, great location AND secure parking out back for a few vehicles. Would have loved to have asked the staff for some stories or history but didn't want to pry. Continental breakfast was lower end, but the room it's in is absolutely worth the cup of coffee.
