"Early check-in was $50, which is not bad. The staff was very helpful. The location itself does the job for the event that we went for. If you’re going for snake discovery, this is the most local and affordable stay. Bang for your book buck, if you will. Upon arrival, the first room we received was a bit dirty, smelled like cigarette smoke, but after politely asking for a change, they were able to accommodate, and we were happy. Definitely would stay again. they welcome you with a warm cookie."

"This hotel is nice with a pay parking ramp pretty much attached. The rooms are decent and the bathrooms are OK, one note: The water pressure in the shower is horrible, however, it is a old building so please don't curse the nuns when it is shower time. Not much for food in bar, they do have drinks pay card only they do not except cash. Breakfast is standard American continental."

"Extremely high quality hotel with a price far lower than expected. Because they're located in the heart of downtown St. Paul, parking can be difficult. They offer valet parking for a fee, but there are also parking garages within one block for less."
