"Solo traveller, one night stop off. Camping hut for two (two single beds) which was warm and cosy. I'd have chosen a kettle over a TV but that's my preference. Stunning surroundings. 3 huts in one very large field so quiet. Excepting unfortunately the noise from the adjacent A road.. which runs alongside the site. Café/ bar on site (this is where reception is) comfy, friendly, good breakfast, views overlooking the pond. Facilities numerous. A good site for families I'd say."

"What a beautiful gem of a B&B. The house is immaculate with stunning views on the balcony in the living area which guests are able to use. Bharat and Ann are extremely friendly and helpful hosts who made our stay even more special. The room was large and comfortable with all amenities. Our highlight was the delicious breakfast cooked by Bharat. We will definitely stay here again!"

"We had a lovely stay and enjoyed our time at the royal lodge. The room was large and the staff were very polite, welcoming and helpful. The bathroom and room were spotless. We also had dinner at the royal lodge which we both loved with the price definitely warranted. We would definitely stay again when visiting the Wye Valley. The road to the hotel is a little unnerving but that is the only downside we can think of. A lovely stay overall and would definitely recommend"

"Google Maps took me to an adjacent road, Common Road, which I drove up looking for the guest house. I asked a gardener who said they thought it might be next door. I drove back onto the main road and saw a small lane on the right and a sign propped against the wall showing Church Farm guest house. There was no sign for anyone coming from Abergavenny, like me. There were 2 front doors and I rang the wrong bell as there was no sign. We were told there was a dining room and when we came down for breakfast selected the one that didnt say Staff only. There was no dining room sign. Otherwise it was a lovely, quiet 2 night stay and Derek and Rosey were very kind and knowledgeable. The room was up 2 flights of narrow stairs. Fine for fit visitors. "
