"We read reviews and I usually try to be openminded. Many reviews said 10/10 with some reviews having lower reviews. I just want a clean spot to stay. The hotel room was very rundown. Sheets, thankfully were clean. The floors hadn't been mopped in who knows how long...i wiped up water from the shower and paper towel was black on first wipe. Microwave hadn't been cleaned in ages. Breakfast seemed like the coffee had been reheated for days...it was thick and dark and the coffee urn had dried coffee dripping down the sides. The hallways were run down. Vent in room was full of dirt and dust. A/C unit was halfway out of wall. It was disappointing to read so many good reviews and then see how dirty rooms were."

"I stayed at this location in 2018 and thought it was a great location and liked the hotel. This time there were 3 of us. I requested high floor with Bay views and got the 14th floor. It was great. the room is a bit on the small side but still a great room and the views are worth it. Breakfast is not included but the service for the buffet is great. In the evening we had salads and french fries at the restaurant - highly recommend the Ceasar Salad and the fries! All staff was super nice!"

"This is a great alternative to the much-more-expensive hotels in the area. Don't set the high expectations and you will be happy. The room and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great because it has the waffle machine. The only difference are the few "scuffs and marks" on doors and windows, but no compromise in safety and quality! I will return! The only problem was the noise from the other rooms, it felt like people were talking all night."

"Clean room, comfortable bed. View of the city was great. Location is less than a 10min walk to the Fox Theater. Staff is friendly. $50 valet but worth it for the added vehicle protection. "
