"First night a lot of noise from a child in the hallway at 5 am otherwise it was an affordable option near the pricier hotel nearby where i was at a conference - I like having breakfast as part of it makes every thing easier"

"Came to spend an overnight trip with a few families for spring break and was totally disappointed with the resort. The hot tub had dirty foam on top. Not to mention the pool is in a separate building outside the hotel. Would probably not be back."

"The breakfast was wonderful! The best continental breakfast we’ve ever had. The parking was easy and accessible and the staff was great. I wish the pool heater would have been working so the pool wouldn’t have been so frigid, but all in all it was a very good experience and very fairly priced. "

"Hotel was clean and had a nice lobby. The food and drinks at the bar/restaurant were very good. The suite was great for me and my husband who goes to bed much earlier than me. The bed was very comfortable. However, some of the finishes in the suite definitely needed attention, i.e. scratched wood trim and was a bit dated. But, the real issue was the water pressure, it was terrible and we had to shower under just a stream. Wasn’t what I was expecting from DoubleTree. We were only there for one night so we managed, but if it had been any longer I would have asked to be moved."

"I love staying at this hotel for the ambience and the quietness of the surrounding area. The lake/pond and walking trails make the lodge feel miles & miles away from the highway. "
