"This hotel has been our go to for almost 3 years now when it comes to visiting family and friends around St. Charles. The rooms are always clean and the staff are always helpful. This last visit, we noticed a couple of things have deteriorated, the water pressure was low and the water had difficulty staying warm but besides that and a couple small things, it was a pleasant stay as always. "We just stayed one night, but were happy with our stay. Comfortable, clean, quiet in a good location. My only complaint was the strong smell of cleaner that was used on the floor or the bedding. I believe it was the bedding because the pillows had a strong smell from a cleaning agent. I considered asking for a room change but we left the door open for about 90 minutes and that helped. "Simple and clean hotel. The breakfast was very simple: bread, bagels, a couple different kinds of cereal, bananas and apples, a box of cookies, juice, milk, and coffee. Only negative was that the pool was completely drained so obviously unavailable to use. "
