"Cannot fault our stay here. Beautiful room, comfy bed, good shower. Staff were all really friendly. Breakfast menu had excellent selection plus you could ask to change bits. All fresh cooked, amazing food. We ate there a couple of nights too and food is very reasonable and excellent quality. Easy distance for all attractions. "

"Excellent stay at the Chequers Inn again for a week for the New Year. Beautiful room, good food, clean, lovely staff - shout out to Angela who went above & beyond for us! Lovely compassionate email sent to us following the very sad death of my Dad whilst we were away. Only downside - the bar closed at 10:30pm on New Years Eve! We will definitely return."

"We stayed in Lisle Combe for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We sat outside in the evenings relaxing, watching and listening to the birds. The only slightly negative comment is that the TV in the bedroom could be a little bigger."
