Check-In was fast and easy. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, shower had great water pressure with plenty of hot water! Loved the nice soft towels. Breakfast of bagels, muffins, coffee, juice was a nice surprise! I would definitely recommend this hotel! It's very close to everything you might want to see and do in St. Augustine.

The room was clean and the price was reasonable relative to other similar lodging in the area. The staff was courteous. A pleasant surprise was I was told there would be coffee in the lobby in the morning but there was actually a mini continental breakfast with bagels, muffins and cold cereal along with coffee, orange juice and milk. It’s .75 mile walk into St. Augustine historic district so for walkers, it’s easier to walk than drive. We drove across the bridge one afternoon but nearby lots were full or had a long line to get in so we drove back to the inn and walked over. The only drawback about the inn was we didn’t see elevators so we had to drag some large suitcases up and down the stairs to the 2nd floor.

The premises were somewhat outdated and so was the bathroom as well as the bedroom - yet, it was clean. We had to wait, and ring the bell on several occasions, in order to get service from front desk - every time. We heard noises from outside and inside our room throughout the night. And, the bed mattresses were very springy and uncomfortable! Although, they offered a continental-like breakfast it had very very limited variety in terms of food and drinks (I.e. tea, coffee, bagel, etc.). Depending on the rate at the time, this could be a consideration for budget-minded individuals - but not for us - not recommended!

The Anastasia Inn is a no frills budget motel. The staff were exceptionally nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Basic continental breakfast. Walkable to downtown. They don’t recycle, but the woman at the front desk said she would recycle my plastic bottles. The lobby closes at 9pm and they were nice enough to call me to see when I was arriving. I definitely would stay there again.

The building maybe a little bit old, but they do an excellent job of keeping the rooms clean. This was my 3rd time at the Anastasia Inn, and I'll stay there again if I visit St. Augustine in the future.

Parking lot was large enough and on the main road to walk into historic downtown. There was easy restaurant access next door and across the street. We were able to check in a little early with no charge but checking out was a definitely time of 10 AM or they charge a full night. We made sure to check out at 9:50 AM. The gentleman at the desk was quite gruff, unfriendly and unresponsive to even a friendly hello when we checked in and out. No smiles either. This is a 2-story building with no elevator so be prepared to carry luggage up a flight of exterior stairs if assigned a 2nd floor room. The room was visually clean and the bed was very firm but surprisingly comfortable....not a high quality mattress. There was damage to the closet door and the tub/shower tile grout could use a good cleaning to remove mold stains. The window A/C unit was good at cooling the room down. It was off when we checked in so the room was musty smelling. The location is good for a nice walk over the Lion's Bridge into Historic Downtown St. Augustine without having to deal with parking, which is difficult to find in downtown. We witnessed a car being towed out of the parking lot so they are quite serious about ONLY active guests of the Inn can be parked in their lot. For the Price, it was a good value but don't expect much!
