"The hotel and rooms smell very clean but after taking my shoes off in my room, it was obvious not all areas had been swept/vacuumed. Location is the best! Staff was always friendly and helpful. The condition of the room itself could’ve been better for a Hilton. Maintenance is not a priority here. One of our lamps wasn’t working, the bathroom vent fan was broken and there was no AC going to the bathroom. The room thermostat was off by several degrees- having to set it to 66° to make the room 70°. The desk in our room had a broken rung at the bottom, there were ants in the coffee area, and the mini fridge was overheating in an unventilated cabinet making it barely functional. Our concerns were brought to the staff and noted. The maintenance staff checked the bathroom vent and confirmed a new one needed to be ordered but nothing was done during our stay to offer a new room or discount for the condition of the one we had. The bed felt old and too soft. Pillows were very very soft with no support. Road noise from below was quite loud on Friday & Saturday nights, though that wasn’t unexpected given the location. Valet parking is $40/day and MANDATORY. But this was not terrible for us bc we have an EV and it was able to be charged in the hotel’s garage before we left (no additional cost). The gym was very basic & the hotel restaurant I would skip at breakfast. Worst omelette I’ve had in some time… dry, brown & overcooked eggs are not appetizing. Starbucks inside is not full service."
