Great place to stay. Friendly, clean and in a great location to visit surrounding areas. Stephanie was wonderful and so helpful in getting me set up on late notice. Highly recommend staying here. I will definitely be back.

Great location. Beautiful room and exceptionally clean. Great staff. Absolutely loved our stay!!!

Everything was clean and comfy.

Great little motel downtown.

It was the most picturesque lodging of our current Montana vacation. Situated in the middle of the community of Cascade, Montana, the older building housing the majority of the motel's rooms is located just behind the extensively stocked Trout Fly Montana fly shop where the owner of the complex (Tom's Market, etc.) checks in all guests. The location is only a block and a half to the Missouri River, a fisherman's delight. A nearby market and gas station and bars and restaurant enhance the...

I would always choose lamplight over some of the other hotels in town. They really know how to make it a home away from home. The only downside I will note is we were in a shared house, us up front and another group of people who got the back and upstairs. The guests behind were very loud amd kept trying to get the door between our room and theirs open. Very rough to sleep through when a drunk keeps yelling and slamming on that door. If you do stay in the house be careful when taking a shower,...

Extra friendly staff, easy check-in, nice spacious room with sliding door to enjoy the breeze; easy parking, convenient location (co-op market across the street); Main Street and shops/restaurants 3 blocks away; 1 mile away from running/walking trails. Didn’t get to use the pool. I highly recommend!

Cooke City is my happy place!

Good

Great stay with great parking. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great. I would come here again, thank you.

I came late and left early. I never saw the staff but they had everything set up for this type of visit.

Nicely renovated. Quiet. Would stay again!

Convenient to Yellowstone Park. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast is limited to muffins and drinks. Local supermarket is across the street, so it’s convenient to buy extra things for breakfast. But if you really need eggs you can eat in the restaurant on premises, but pay for it extra. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall great place for short stay.

The desk clerk was very friendly and got me checked in very quickly. The room was clean, but the bed is hard with this uncomfortable pillows. The parking lot is lit up like daylight and the drapes are thin enough that it keeps the room so light that it's difficult to sleep.

Biscuits and gravy... and the best deal in town.
