Find Hotel with a Concierge in Southwest Colorado, CO

"Huge 1 bedroom unit ON the golf course. Even on a paradise weekend, only a week before 'the season' started, I paid under a hundred bucks!?! I used the kitchen a lot, the laundry machines etc etc and everything was cozy toesy. Maybe not exactly 'Romantic Old Pagosa' which will cost twice as much, but highly recommended. "

"Great place on the Animas River! I’ve outside bar and grill to sit and watch the rafts and kayaks glide by. Rooms are nice and clean. The staff is very friendly!"

"LIKE: Hotel started in late 1800s. Period atmosphere was an educational change compared to modern "hotels". Yet, Strater was up to date in all aspects required to make stay comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable. Shower and bath facilities were especially nice. Location convenient to just about any kind of tourist/ history/ experience, including occasional steam whistle signals (not during sleeping hours) from Steam Locomotive for D&RGW narrow gauge excursion trains to Silverton, Colo. The whole experience gave credence to Durango's historic role as a gateway to one of Colorado's richest historic mining districts dating from late 1800s. DISLIKE: Nothing. Would definitely stay at Strater in Durango, CO again."
