「They need microwave in rooms, need restaurant that are open, the bar at pool closed on labor day! The top floor only open on certain days, the nice restaurant in the casino was closed on labor day very disappointing. 」

「Friday night we stayed at a Holiday Inn in Effingham. It badly needed renovations and a deep scrub. This Holiday Inn in Alton/ Godfrey is fresh, lovely rooms and hospitable! Congratulations for setting the bar!!」

「The hotel is a good value. The breakfast is not big, but there is enough to start the day. I appreciate the fact that the hotel is not noisy, and the bed is comfy. My only complaint is the air freshener in the room. Some scents don’t agree with me, and I would prefer no air freshener in the room.」
