Good in typical boorish English way . Not a fan of South Hampton. Our cruise ended in this god forsaken town , hence Titanic started its Doomsday day trip to be remembered by the world. So your desires and wishes. Neither of mine. Each to his own

We only had one night here, but this is a great option for a longer stay in Southhampton. Close to tne Port and Old town. We will definitely be back as the occasion arises.

Payment was taken from my card the day before check-in with no prior warning. I had opted for 'pay at property' so it was a big surprise and I barely had enough money in my account for it as me and the other guests were going to split it when we arrived. The room wasnt ready when we arrived but they were very nice about it. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had tried to do the online check-in but there were so many different parts to it that I gave up on it twice. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom wasn't great. There were hairs in the bathroom, chewing gum on the ceiling above the top bed (so very close, easily visible), and the pillow cases didnt seem clean. Under the sofa hadnt been vacuumed in a while and the top bed was pretty awkward and uncomfortable.

Surrounding area a bit run down. However location to cruise port very convenient. Everything is within walking distance. Hotel excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was a studio which was small but perfect and well stocked. Bed was extremely uncomfortable but we survived. We would definitely stay here again.
