"finding your room can be confusing"

"We stayed in the West Lodge, which is on the first floor, no stairs. The East Lodge across the street has stairs and is two stories. The microwave, if you need one, is where you checked in and is a long walk. I drove to it. There was no breakfast included as the reservation said on Expedia or I was confused! But I would stay there again. I definitely suggest staying in the park and take the shuttle buses than stay outside the park in Tusayan."

"Hotel looked better in photos than in person unfortunately. Very strange location that was hard to find - have to go through parking lot at the visitor center. Beds were not comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Front desk staff was very nice."

"The room was simple and small but met our needs, except that the sink did not drain. Only the trash was cleared on our second day — no bed making or other tidying. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner, though pricy, and reservations far in advance are usually needed. The location is excellent and well worth the stay."

"great location to entrance of grand canyon, nice pool area. Having an included breakfast for cost and location, would have been great. Breakfast was good with many options for cost though."
