When you make reservations a year in advance, make SURE you have the right male/female components and DON'T CHANGE THEM!!! Also, the Backcountry office sometimes calls the Reservation desk to put you on the Wait list for Phantom (chance) altho it is best to do this in person. Still, it's a lottery and that 3rd person may not make it down there. Ours didn't....

It took extra mile a walk but not much to see. If you craving for a snack after a 9 miles of hike... than you just have to go for it.
