「It's OK to stay. Breakfast is good enough. But the back door is not well secured」

「The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was helpful. I thought the onsite restaurant was a bit fancy and overpriced for the area. I did not eat there after viewing the menu. Also would be nice to have some outdoor seating.」

「We were there to visit Family and all we basically were looking for was a bed and the TV that worked so that we could enjoy our time together. We enjoyed it.」

「The room was a bit dated and the hotel did not have an elevator. It was difficult for an old guy like me with fake knees. Breakfast options somewhat limited. I have seen worse.」

「The inn had no rooms with walk in showers even though it was advertised. Had to go down to the reception area to use a microwave-none in room. Bed was so high that my wife had to use a stool to get into it. There was a preset alarm on the time clock for 6AM that was not expected. When the heat was off there was a fan that cooled the room too much immediately. The tub was slippery when used for a shower.」

「The staff were extremely helpful to us. We were new to the area and they provided excellent dining options. They also recommended local Sights we might enjoy. The breakfast was exceptionally good with lots of good, healthy choices. The suite was very clean and was well appointed. I would definitely recommend this hotel!」

「Very old but nostalgic hotel. Very clean and some updated features which made stay similar to modern hotels. The staff was very courteous and professional. They were able to adjust our itinerary and refund for shortened stay. Would definitely stay again.」

「You can tell by appearance that the property is dated, but functional. It just needs a few updates, maybe walk in showers for guest with no children and new bathtubs throughout. We had a great time with our family in the pool and hot tub, just needed more towels on the weekend. The breakfast could have been better 😋 All and all we had a great time in the Duluth area exploring! The staff was very helpful with extra blankets and pillows for our room.」

「A real nice jacuzzi but it took help to get hot water. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Overall a very nice stay. A lot of hiking trails almost out the back door. I would recommend this place」
