Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay in FIJI, WAS SURPRISED THEY DIDN'T HAVE A CHEAP SHUTTLE SERVICE TO NADI. THAT WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEM 5 STARS BUT MARRIOTT MOMI BAY IS BEAUTIFUL. BIT PRICEY BUT EXCELLENT "

Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa
4/10 Poor
"The Hilton is very run down. Construction happening throughout the complex and outside. Our garden view was of the busy main walk way and construction site. The entry is very small. Some Staff are not the friendliest compared other 5 star resorts on the island. 2 of the pools looked like swamps with lots of leaves in the afternoon. The adult breakfast was average. Compared with other resorts on the island this was the most underwhelming and at the same price point. We had issues with room service with delays/ payment issues and it tasted awful. The room its self was unclean with mould in the shower and no extra toiletries compared with other 5 star resorts. "

Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora
4/10 Poor
"The bathroom was not clean, they don't scrub the walls .. floor veey dusty"

Fiji Gateway Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I was really impressed with the service, food and well maintained facilities. So easy to get to and a quick taxi ride into Port Denarua."

The Edgewater Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic place to stay right on a beautiful beach with great snorkelling in front of the hotel. Beautiful restaurant and seating area overlooking the sea and amazing ocean views from the room. Very friendly staff and the food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here. "

Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Spent 7 nights at the Sheraton, room was nice, clean, comfortable with good aircon and a ceiling fan.
Island 619 breakfast and dinner buffets were good, but birds at breakfast time are a huge issue. We observed birds standing in the food and eating directly from the buffet daily and the staff did not seem to care or do much about it. Dont walk away from your plate, the birds will beat you back to the table!
Spent most of our time at the Wet Edge bar and pool which was nicer and quieter than the main pool area of the resort.
Room service and bars are well priced considering you are inside a resort.
The Tatuvu restruant offers fantastic food , service and sunset views with nightly entertainment.
The grounds of the resort are very well maintained and most resort staff are friendly and helpful.
It is worth mentioning that on check in the resort requires a $1000FJD hold as a security deposit and that the resort is completley cashless. None of the resturants, bars or cafes will take cash, you need to pay via card or charge to your room.
The only places that accept cash are the retail / convenince stores inside the grounds although the prices here are extremley inflated. If youre looking for better value for money go to the supermarket at Port Denaru where food, alcohol and medication are all significantly cheaper.
We will absolutley return but would like to see the bird / food safety issues adressed."

Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji
6/10 Okay
"Breakfast is standard not anything flashy"

Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts
10/10 Excellent
"EVERYTHING AMAZING !!"

InterContinental Resort Tahiti by IHG
6/10 Okay
"We stayed on the second floor closest to the over water bungalows. The room was average to good, but unfortunately a pipe burst apparently somewhere so they shut off the water for two hours mid-morning without informing us. Thankfully no one was taking a shower or doing a number 2. There also was construction noise on the grounds to repair the pipe which woke us up early the first morning. The building next to us is undergoing a complete gutting and reno, but we didn't hear any noise from that direction. It does look a little worrisome at first when you pass by it as there's plywood boarding up areas and open doorways. It's not what we expected from a $1000/nite hotel I guess.
There are convenient shuttles available to take you to and from your room if needed, but you smell the exhaust riding in the back. Staff were generally pleasant. The view from our room was good of the pool, Moorea, and construction grader. The lagoon was very nice and full of fish swimming about. The buffet and dance show was good.
Proximity to the airport and cruise port is nice. The Lotus Michelin restaurant is good but a bit pricey. Overall there's not many luxury hotels right on the water in town, and with Tahiti's popularity I guess they can charge a premium for that. In hindsight maybe staying elsewhere and just getting a day pass at the Intercontinental probably would have been equally as fine."
