Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa
4/10 Poor
"Pros: very friendly staff, kids club playground & comfy beds
Cons: I’m not usually one to complain but we had an issue every day of our trip, from uncooked chicken served to our toddler to a hot water system in our room that sounded like a plane taking off (and turned on any time one of the rooms around us used hot water) so we had to change rooms when another room became available the next day.
We were incorrectly charged on nearly every bill so make sure to be very careful about checking the receipts before signing!
The lock on our door stopped working so we couldn’t get in without maintenance and on our final morning we booked a buggy to get us to the lobby with our bags that never showed up so we had to speed walk through the resort with bags, toddler & pram to check out and make our airport transfer.
Overall, I’m glad we did a visited other hotel restaurants & did a day trip so we know Fiji is beautiful, we just picked wrong with accom and would stay somewhere else next time even if it meant not having the separate living space during naps (which was the main selling point here)."

Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora
10/10 Excellent
"This is Bora Bora's best kept secret. Awesome accommodation, amazing staff and great prices. We had an issue with our orginal room & the staff bent over backwards to remedy the situation & make it up to us. One of the best resorts I've ever stayed in. "

The Edgewater Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We stay at the Edgewater every year and it is always very comfortable and the staff are great, it might be time to review the restaurant menu however"

Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort

The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely incredible. We spent our honeymoon at the Westin this past week and I could not imagine a better experience. From the moment you arrive at the airport, the staff are genuinely happy to help you with anything you need. They ensure that you don’t have to lift a finger during your stay. Our first morning we met with the concierge and booked all of the recommended activities - jet skiing, snorkeling, sailing and a massage. We also toured the on-site turtle hospital which was very cool. Our premium bungalow with a plunge pool was amazing, with a view of the mountain. We had room service brought to the plunge pool as the sun was setting one night. I could not recommend the Westin more highly. "

Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji
8/10 Good
"We had a great stay at the Shangri La resort. The staff were very friendly and eager to accommodate. The resort is showing it's age a bit but overall provided everything we needed. The snorkeling was amazing right off the beach. The lounge chairs at the beach and pool were in bad need of an upgrade. But the beach and snorkeling made up for it. The resort is great for families or if you prefer the adults only section was great as well. The food was good and I would recommend eating at the Black Marlin steak house, the rib steak we shared was fabulous there. If I went to Fiji again I would not go in March as we found the humidity a bit overwhelming. I would highly recommend a massage at the hotel spa and my husband enjoyed playing golf. I wish we had been able to see some sights off the resort but the humidity kept us at the beach and resort. We met some great people and overall had a fantastic time. "

Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts
10/10 Excellent
"Le Bora Bora is paradise. Every detail is cared for under the attentive eye of the director, Franc, who is always present. The grounds are immaculate—no stray leaf, perfectly raked sand, and a maintenance team that deserves awards.
The food is incredible. Every meal is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, from warm breakfast breads and omelettes to the tuna steak buffet with endless sides—poke, cheeses, yogurts, jams, desserts, and yes, fresh avocado with every meal.
The staff is genuinely friendly, always greeting you with a smile and ready to help. Facilities are spotless, with bathrooms and water stations everywhere, offering cold water and fresh juices. Check‑in felt luxurious with scented towels, juice, and a warm welcome.
The scenery is breathtaking—not only the crystal lagoons full of fish, but the lush, terraced gardens throughout the resort. Even garden‑view cabanas feel serene and picturesque, with countless peaceful spots to relax.
The coral beneath the bungalows was a highlight, attracting triggerfish, needlefish, puffers, parrotfish, stingrays, and our favorite, the colorful Picasso triggerfish.
All the staff were wonderful, but special thanks to:
Hannaei at breakfast for her sweetness and attention;
Lokeni at the pool bar for keeping the energy up; Viana and the concierge/boat team for seamless coordination; Daisy and Desiree at Minki Minki for being a great duo; and Taroararii, who never stops moving and helping."

InterContinental Resort Tahiti by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"What a gorgeous property, and so close to the airport, without feeling the slightest bit like an “airport hotel.” The place is large and well laid-out, with a wide variety of pool and dining options, each with a totally different vibe. We spent a two-day layover here on the way to New Zealand, and without ever leaving the property, we felt like we had a lovely little Tahitian getaway! The “Lagoonarium” — a mini-lagoon with exotic fishes you could swim with! — was a childhood dream come true! I always wanted to jump into the fish ponds at resorts, and I was able to do that in this gorgeous pool with friendly fishes! They also have a sea turtle rescue program there, which was fascinating and moving. We took a scuba diving trip right from the property a few hours after arriving, and saw many fish, stingrays, eagle rays, a plane wreck and a boat wreck in the crystal-clear waters. What a low-effort way to have a spectacular experience! The food at The Lotus Restaurant was transcendent! Staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know! "
