The property itself is gorgeous, the villas are amazing and the views and sunsets spectacular.
The positives of our stay would be our day cruise with Kaiwai watersports which was fantastic, and the team at the fish bar who were lovely and provided excellent service. The spa and gym team were also great.
The service at Goji and lagoon house was consistency disappointing, and the reception/concierge team were even worse. I was double charge over $1400FJD and when I questioned it the reception tried to gaslight me by first saying there was no issue, then that it was my fault because my card declined, when it wasn't. I wasn't provided with receipts for the initial transaction, and then the second transaction came through I was eating lunch, so also no receipt. When I was able to prove that I had been double charged I was't even provided an apology, let alone some sort of compensation for the time and frustration of having to sort out the problem.
Overall, would I return to Marriot Momi bay? Yes. Would I double check every receipt and have low expectations of the majority of the staff I interact with, also yes.
