「No Parking close by to drop off luggage. Treacherous, steep downhill path through a park to take several heavy suitcases. Incredibly poor communication from the property, who in the first instance did not respond for over a week to our request for an early check in. e repeatedly asked host for check in details,and we eventually got them on the day of check in only 15 minutes before scheduled (normal) check in time, at which time we were already at the weddding of my daughter, having travelled...

「We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience 」

「Stayed at Little Trees because we were visiting elderly parents who live nearby. Nice peaceful location. The place was spotless. Everything was provided - towels, shampoo, shower gel, bread, butter, milk etc. couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely stay again. Bed a little low and soft for me but actually slept really well. 」

「Owner was easy to contact and fast to respond. House is beautiful and we felt very safe. Very spacious. Close enough to walk into town and to access The Tube. 」

「The check-in process was abysmal! The code for keybox didn't work, and no one responded to my emails. When someone finally answered the phone, they couldn't provide a code that worked either. It took an entire hour before we could access the property. The house itself is nice in a quiet leafy neighbourhood. The wifi doesn't work very well in the lounge. We could only get the TV working sometimes. I would suggest the owner reviews their hosting company options.」

「A fabulous place to stay if you have any business event to go to at Champneys . very well thought out, a lot of fabulous extra touches that meant we didn't need to bring anything. Berkhamsted is close by and has an amzing selection of places to eat. It has great parking and in a nice setting. We had a little struggle with their agent not sending through the arrival code instructions but it was quickly sorted out over the phone. will definitely stay here again.」

「Multiple issues with this property. The second hey box wouldn’t open, so only had one key. The heat wouldn’t turn off making it very stuffy at all times. The showers had so little pressure they just dripped and we had to wash hair in sinks. The basement one was the worst. Location is great. It’s a quiet street but walkable to much. Adequate space and bedrooms. However the property needs much work and good luck if you need help- no one returned my call from the first night we arrived. 」

「Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The property was full of character, very clean and in a quiet area but within easy walking distance to all the main attractions. Check in was very straightforward. Would highly recommend. 」
