「I believe the part of the hotel we stayed in was not part of the newer renovated rooms, the room we had was comfortable and very clean. The room was small and the bathroom was very tiny, but since it was just my husband and I it was adequate. We only stayed one night. The bed was very comfortable! 「This was my 2nd time staying here. Was here around the same time the prior year, and the room served its purpose. Comfortable, quiet, clean, and decent shower. It’s also so close to everything, just walking distance. Staff is very friendly and outgoing, that I would stay here again if ever in the area!」

「Staying here is mainly for the location. It needs a huge makeover as far as how old it is with the rusted beams holding up the second and third floors. The dresser and nightstand drawers smell like mildew. The plunger and toilet cleaning brush looked dirty sitting in the bathroom. Staff was helpful, easy check in and parking, not their fault the hotel is old and needs a major facelift. The location is great though and walking distance to the beach and restaurants.」

The location is fantastic, parking is extremely tight, wasn’t very clean, ceiling fans are completely covered in thick dust, super low water pressure in showers, zero communication regarding where and how to check (I only knew because of reviews), and there is no elevator for those who would need it. Overall, our stay was ok. Wouldn’t stay again for the price.」

「Rick provides an excellent breakfast and some great conversation. Definitely better than the regular boring hotel. The parking lot is small, so maybe bring a midsize or compact vehicle vs a full size crew cab truck.」

「Overall this was an average, pretty much no frills hotel. The rooms were clean. No microwave or closet in the room. You had to request new towels or room cleaning as they only do this every 2 days. However, you were not informed as such until we asked. Breakfast was average. But overall clean. 」

「They have no in person check-in so you expect a code to get in the room on the day of arrival. However, in my case, and that was two weeks in a row they did not send the code because I booked the room through Expedia and apparently Expedia did not facilitate the transfer of funds so I had to make a few phone calls before I would get the code. 「The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Having free parking is wonderful, outside and in the garage. The room overall smelled and appeared clean but the bathroom bathtub could have been cleaner, it was like slightly grey as if there was build up dirt. Also, the cleaning policy is every other day which is ok but I had to ask them to clean because they didn't even when they were suppose to. And the area is pretty quiet so it's good if you don't like noise. Overall I would give the place a 3.5」

「The exhaust vent in the hallway on the fourth floor is extremely noisy! Handheld shower handle was a low quality product. The omlets for breakfast were not very good. Enjoyed the automated brewed coffee in the breakfast area, it was very good. However, the coffee served in the lobby was terrible. The desk clerk said I am not eligible for IHG points since I made my reservation through Expedia.」

「The outdoor pools were wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They do however need new rugs and the staff needs to pay attention more.」
