The manager was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean but the headboards showed wear, water pressure was low in shower, and the outdoor pool was not clean. We appreciated the complimentary bottles of water and location. A budget-friendly option a short stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely amazing stay at Admirals on Tybee Island! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth, welcoming, and relaxing. The property itself is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located — close to everything you need while still feeling like a peaceful getaway. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff — especially Rita. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and felt right at home. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about guests the way she does. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made a difference in our stay. If you're looking for a place where you can relax and feel appreciated as a guest, this is it. We’ll definitely be back — and we highly recommend Admirals to anyone visiting Tybee Island!

The place is very convenient—it’s close to pretty much everything: the beach, shops, and the pier. The parking is very spacious and safe. At first glance, the place has a decent exterior. The staff was very kind, especially the receptionist when we arrived—she was very friendly. Everything was very easy when it came to checking in. The rooms are renovated, but not very clean. When you walk on the floor with socks, they turn black from how dirty it is. Make sure to check the sheets before settling in, because ours had stains near the foot of the bed, around the fold of the mattress. It’s a very quiet place we went during the low season. The pool was clean and a bit warm, a little small, but since there weren’t many people, it was more than enough for my husband and me. Would I book another room at that hotel again? If there were no other options, I would, but if I had better choices, I’d pass on the opportunity to stay there, mainly because the room we stayed in was not very clean.

Wir hatten einen schrecklichen Aufenthalt dort! Es war laut, an Schlaf war nicht zu denken. In den Nachbarzimmern/Flur wurde Gras geraucht. Leider hatten wir dieses Hotel anlässlich unseres Geburtstags gebucht…aber es war die schlimmste Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise. Wir hatten bereits im Vorfeld angegeben, dass es sich um eine spezielle Reise handelt und um ein schönes, ruhiges Zimmer gebeten. Unsere Anfrage wurde weder vorher beantwortet noch hat es das Personal beim Einchecken interessiert. Auch die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Unser Aufenthalt war eine einzige Enttäuschung! So schade, denn Tybee Island ist sehr schön…

The air conditioner smelled like mildew and didn’t work. The “heated” pool wasn’t heated and was completely covered. When we asked the staff to take the cover off, they gave us attitude stating that the pool was closed. When we pointed out that it was 6pm and the pool was supposed to be open.

The room was really run down. The beds and headboards are in poor shape. The noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway was disruptive, especially while trying to rest after a long day of travel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, however, we won't be returning, just based on the condition of the room and the building.

Clean room, comfortable bed, really quiet property, nice little gym. A little wear and tear on the furniture, but nothing not expected for a high traffic beach hotel. Great great location blocks from the Tybee Pavilion and Tybrisa St Beach entry. I stayed here for the half marathon and couldn't have picked a better spot half a block from the starting line and two blocks from the finish!
