It is a modest hotel in the historic center of Solola. Only two parking spaces on premises, more adjacent. Reception/manager Josue is a wealth of info on the area, very friendly and obliging. Most rooms on upper floors, no elevator. Small common area with hot/cold water, tea and coffee. Coffee shop next door. Excellent cakes 1/2 block to the right on main avenue.

Directions on website and GPS take you to the wrong address. We had to call for directions. Check-in and check-out was fairly smooth and the hotel was mostly clean. The hostess had only prepared one room for our party of 8 instead of the two I had reserved. She quickly set us up in 2 rooms, one with 4 beds and one with 5. The room with 5 was not originally reserved and that is where my family stayed. I could tell that the bedsheets were not changed after the previous visitors.My daughter found American coins in her sheets and I found a bobby pin in mine. My daughter also had blood stains on her bed. There was no towels, no soap and no toilet paper in the room when we arrived. When I asked, she only gave us 4 towels for the 5 of us and a roll of paper. No soap. Beds were comfortable the water was hot and the hostess was nice but it was way overpriced for what you get.

Basic simple clean room. Only one towel for two people. Parking was inconvenient - in a line of three, so that the cars at the front had to move for the ones at the back. Wifi was good.

Beautiful hotel with the best view in town (from the roof) steeps away from Centro. Speedy check in considering I booked this room less than an hour before arriving. Complimentary coffee/water Adorable , friendly, beyond helpful staff for non or poorly speaking Spanish guests
