"The place itself is located in a great location. However when checking in the Manager was absolutely Rude. It wasn’t a welcoming experience. I only stayed there because of a business trip and everywhere else was booked. "

"6th time visiting San Francisco but first time in 10 years. Primarily booked this hotel for location. Close to Fisherman’s Wharf & North Beach but also close to Embarcadero & Golden Gate. Wonderful hotel. Area around it is clean & safe unlike downtown. Staff are very friendly & attentive. Room was big & clean. Couldn’t really fault hotel other than no kettle in room. People from Britain & Ireland do enjoy a cup of tea so kettle was missed. In saying that there is complimentary tea & coffee in morning from 6-9, but would have loved a cuppa in the afternoon. "

"No service for the tv. Had to ask for fridge and coffee making apparatus. Exhorbitant fee for parking (which was waived for lack of tv service). No free amenities except lobby coffee. Not as nice as our last visit 2 years ago."
