"We visited this hotel for our daughter's graduation from Winthrop University. My parents (both over 85+ years old) also stayed at the hotel. They came down the day of graduation and it was our initial plan for them to just hang out in our room before the ceremony. However, we were put in a second floor room and the hotel does not have an elevator, so they couldn't come up to our room. Instead of making them sit in the lobby all day, the hotel clerk was able to get their room ready ASAP and was able to get them in their room within 30 minutes of their arrival. Also, we asked to use their eating area so that my family could all each lunch together since my parents weren't able to come to our room. They allowed us to each there, not only for lunch, but later that evening when we celebrated my daughter's graduation. I did not like them not having an elevator, but it is only a 2 story hotel."

"Some things on the property had been updated (like the tub and shower), other things had not and it is an older building. Breakfast was just a continental breakfast, was not very good, and closed down early. Ice machine did not work. Mattresses were quite old and uncomfortable. The TV had a mediocre picture. The sink had the hot and cold hooked up backwards. The refrigerator and microwave worked. The A/C worked fine as well."

"Well the staff was nice but honestly a little scared and not clean. There was hair in my bathroom which is dog hair. Towels was dirty the bed linen had spots and a smell. I guess u get what u pay for. Will I be back nah. Definitely location was good. Someone doesn’t care about there building. Sorry just my honest opinion."

"The front desk girls were snotty, but thankfully the manger was so very kind. The entire hotel was a disaster. It was gross and run down and smelled. I will never stay at this location ever. If you just don’t care and wanna sleep then do it, but from the lobby to the elevator to the hallways to the room was just gross. Felt so dirty when I left. It was definitely not worth the money at all!!"

"We booked a room for 5 that was listed as 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. the listing says sleeper sofa. we get to the room and there is a couch. no sleeper sofa. we were told the sofa is big enough to fit a person on it. however no kind of sheets pillows or blankets were provided. and the couch was dirty. hotels-dot-com also gets zero stars for being completely useless. all they would do is call the hotel and ask them if they would refund us. of course they said no. i could have done that myself."
