「Clean tidy and quiet 」

「No food on Tuesdays. Big disappointment after a long drive. Breakfast service poor. Mistakes and inexperienced staff」

「The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)」

「Great location. Ideal location for Southwell racecourse. 15 minute leisurely stroll to the racecourse from the accommodation. Our overnight stay was great from start to finish - easy check in, free car parking, clean tidy and comfortable room. Bathroom, including shower, was clean and modern. The sink was on the small side. Good value for money.」

「This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.」

「We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

「The rating was given for two star hotel. This is a motel style, very, very simple. Service was good, the room was relatively clean. We stayed only one night, so we just needed a place where we could sleep. It was a good place to stay for the money paid. 」

I phoned to say that I would be late for final check in (10pm) and Alexandra, the lovely lady on the front desk, made sure I was checked in dignity and made me feel so safe about arriving late. This was my second time visiting The Swan for work trips to Blyton Park track. Couldn’t recommend this B&B enough. Perfect for solo female travellers.」

「Staff here are where very helpful we booked a family room when arriving into our room there was only a double bed and one single for a family of 4 2 adults and 2 children. The staff were very quick to help and re arranged us a new room without hesitation. We had travelled a lot the day of staying. Decided to eat at the hotel was disappointed that there wasn’t a children menu for our children to pick from. Couldn’t fault the food was absolutely Devine for dinner and breakfast was lovely to all...

「Charming B&B excellent accommodation great spot easy walk into Woodhallspa. Breakfast was superb. Staff and owners could not be more helpful. Plenty of parking, nice areas to sit and relax in and out of rooms. Immaculately clean. Good spot from which to walk cycle and tour. Quiet but not remote. In room refreshments aplenty and generous bathroom consumables including towels. Room airy, air con perfect given heatwave we encountered, shower big powerful and very nice. Bed huge and super comfy....
