Village Hotel Changi by Far East Hospitality
Hotel was bit dated and I chose because of airport shuttle which only ran every 2 hours and not for a window in afternoon so I ended up paying for transport both ways. Would have chosen different hotel.

Ambassador Transit Hotel Terminal 2
7.5hours layover, having the room for 6 hours to sleep and rest is a godsend. Breakfast is average though.
